Become a Godparent to a Senior Dog!

Cairn Rescue USA takes into its rescue program needy Cairns regardless of age. Often times, dogs over the age of 11 years spend months in foster care until the right home willing to adopt a senior dog comes along. Our Godparent Program allows you to sponsor a special Senior Cairn that has touched your heart until it is adopted. Your sponsorship goes to pay for its vet care, medicines (such as eye drops for dry eye which cost $50 to $75 per month), food, treats, and other essentials. Your sponsorship is tax-deductible as Cairn Rescue USA is a 501(c)(3) organization. As a CRUSA Godparent, your name will appear as the dog’s Godparent on our web site next to the picture of the Senior Cairn you are sponsoring. Should your donation exceed the actual expenses incurred for your sponsored Senior Cairn, we will apply the surplus towards one or more of our other Senior Cairns. You may choose to pay your sponsorship in one lump sum or by making monthly contributions, either by PayPal or by check. For contribution of less than $10, we ask that you please write a check.
